THE Master plan
Scaloni had taken over at Argentina after they had sacked Jorge Sampaoli following their Round of 16 exit in the 2018 World Cup. He was then named as the full-time mentor with the Albiceleste after their third-place finish at the 2019 Copa America.
WHAT NEXT FOR SCALONI?
The Argentine will be the lead trainer for the side at the following year's version of the Copa America in the US. His future past that point is still hanging out there.
