WHAT ROONEY SAID
Addressing Sky Sports, Rooney said: "On the off chance that he continues doing what he's doing, same difference either way. Again we've gone through that pattern of Messi and Ronaldo where that's what they've overwhelmed. I'm certain there will be five or six players battling to attempt to win the following one. I'm certain assuming he continues doing what he's doing he'll be right up there.
"It's perfect to see a youthful English fellow make a move to proceed to play abroad, be fearless, he did all around well in Germany and is currently at one of the greatest club on the planet and truly sparkling. I'm truly satisfied for himself and ideally he can bring that into the Euros and assist us with finding actual success."
