The latest self-service digital advertising solution for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the UK, OSSA, has been unveiled, aiming to fuel the growth of small businesses in the UK through its AI-driven advertising platform.

OSSA is focusing on reaching out to small businesses that are in dire need of attracting new customers but currently lack the time, expertise, or resources to engage in digital advertising.

This product serves as an all-in-one solution that empowers business owners to effortlessly create and launch digital campaigns. It utilizes OpenAI, Shutterstock, and Figma to automate the campaign creation process. Additionally, it leverages social media platform APIs for media buying and reporting. OSSA's AI model is capable of strategically guiding advertising content and media selections.

Fadi Khater, OSSA co-founder and the founder of digital marketing agency Netizency, explained the motivation behind OSSA's establishment, stating, "Millions of small businesses are currently excluded from advertising agency services due to the manual operations of these agencies, which primarily cater to large clients with substantial budgets. However, with the emergence of advanced technologies capable of handling large-scale operations, it is now feasible for us to extend agency services to millions of smaller businesses."

"OSSA is designed to democratize advertising by integrating intelligent generative AI technology, automation, and advertising science. Our objective is to support the growth of small businesses amidst a fiercely competitive and challenging economic landscape. Small enterprises, such as restaurants, salons, legal firms, florists, and accounting firms, are the backbone of our economy and daily lives. They deserve equitable access to digital advertising opportunities, comparable to those enjoyed by larger corporations."

This product is engineered to be swift, cost-effective, and impactful. OSSA enables instantaneous ad creation, making it 100 times faster than traditional agencies. It is priced between £25 and £2000, offering a 90% reduction in costs compared to freelancers. Moreover, its campaign performance surpasses platform benchmarks by 50% to 60% in terms of effectiveness per dollar spent.

Since its beta launch a few weeks ago, OSSA has already garnered a customer base across various sectors.

Small business owner Johnnie Moore, founder of Johnnie Moore Consulting, shared his experience, stating, "OSSA simplified the process of creating effective ads for me, eliminating the complexities associated with using social media platforms' ad managers."

With prior executive positions at advertising agencies such as Wunderman Thompson and BBH, Co-founder Guy Murphy added, "Overlooked by traditional advertising agencies and often overwhelmed by the intricate ad manager tools provided by social media platforms, small businesses have struggled to keep pace with digital advertising trends. However, the advent of Generative AI (GenAI) technology now grants them unprecedented access to advertising creation without necessitating extensive technical expertise."

"OSSA has harnessed the potential of GenAI to develop a platform featuring the most user-friendly, jargon-free interface. It autonomously generates effective advertisements strategically disseminated across appropriate channels."

"The crux of OSSA's success lies in its innovative approach, blending academic insights into advertising efficacy with behavioral psychology principles, all powered by advanced GenAI technology. We are excited to collaborate with UK small businesses on their growth journey."

Regarding the launch, Tamara Ingram, OBE, and former Chair at Wunderman Thompson, praised OSSA as "a brilliant adaptation of the ad agency model for small businesses."

Michelle Henderson, COO at Tortoise Media, remarked, "OSSA presents a refreshingly straightforward approach, making the complex realm of digital advertising more accessible. It's inspiring to see an advertising venture with such a clear purpose."

Nicolas Roux, global partners strategy & sales at LinkedIn and OSSA board member, commented, "OSSA is an exceptional online self-serve platform for small businesses to seamlessly execute and expand ad campaigns, from creation and planning to management and analytics. And most importantly for our audience, it's incredibly user-friendly!"

Fredrik Borestrom, SVP of IAA Global, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I'm thrilled to witness the launch of the OSSA platform as it addresses the SME segment of the advertising market."

The OSSA platform is currently in beta and accessible via www.OSSAplatform.com.
